Regioncode 1 DVDs und der VLC

Wie ich erfolgreich mit meinem US-Import von Bender’s Big Score testen konnte, spielt der VLC auf einem Ubuntu 7.10 zusammen mit libdvdcss Region-1-DVDs ohne zu mucken ab.
Update:
Unter Windows läuft die DVD ebenfalls problemlos im VLC. Im Klartext: Diese VLC-Version kann unter Windows XP mit einem Region-2-DVD-Laufwerk eine Region-1-DVD abspielen.
